These are the formal and informal institutions where I have studied as well as highlights from my education experiences.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Education<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Walton High School\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Reflections on a New, Old High School:<\/strong> In 2017, I returned to my high school after a $48M dollar renovation. I reflected on it in with an op-ed in The<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/blog\/get-schooled\/opinion-new-walton-high-school-inspires-old-memories-dedicated-teachers-and-involved-parents\/si8o9nbmBMHxkanyPevEHO\/\">Atlanta Journal Constitution<\/a><\/em>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Cornell University<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Student Leadership:<\/strong> My senior honors thesis studied the role of NGOs in Democracy promotion abroad. As a student, I served as a Resident Advisor in Clara Dickson Hall, Student Assistant in Alice Cook House, the Arts and Sciences Representative on the Student Assembly and Research Assistant to Professor Chris Way. I was also active in Hillel and worked for Rabbi Ed Rosenthal as a Student Intern where I organized the University&#8217;s first public tribute to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillel.org\/about\/news-views\/news-views---blog\/news-and-views\/2004\/11\/08\/cornell-hillel-honors-lynching-victim-leo-frank\">Leo Frank<\/a>, Class of 1906.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>One Year Out<\/strong>: I wrote about life after college in a column published by the student newspaper, The <em>Cornell Daily Sun<\/em>. I also authored a special feature in the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/cornellalumnimagazine.com\/Archive\/2007marapr\/depts\/LtrFromIthaca.asp\">Cornell Alumni Magazine<\/a><\/em>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>New York University\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Certificate in Fundraising:<\/strong> I studied the art and science of fundraising in an intensive program to learn how to design an annual campaign, recruit board members and ask for donations.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 100px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organizations<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.explo.org\/\">Exploration Summer Programs<\/a><\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Student and Instructor:<\/strong> As a high school student, I attended this enrichment focused summer program. As a college student, I returned to teach classes on Constitutional Law, the United Nations, Journalism and Jewelry Making.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbrainery.com\/users\/7526-julia-levy\">Brooklyn<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbrainery.com\/users\/7526-julia-levy\">Brainery<\/a><\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Instructor: <\/strong>I developed curriculums and <a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbrainery.com\/users\/7526-julia-levyhttps:\/\/brooklynbrainery.com\/users\/7526-julia-levy\">taught classes<\/a> in fundraising, podcasting and how to talk to strangers.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/orbital.nyc\/\">Orbital<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Student<\/strong>: I attended this studio for building networks and launching side projects in New York City.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ideou.com\/products\/storytelling-for-influence\"><strong>IDEO<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>U<\/strong><\/a>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Student<\/strong>: I completed a Certificate in Storytelling for Influence and learned techniques about weaving content into projects in creative ways.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Where I&#8217;ve Studied I believe in life-long learning.
