About Me

I build communities and create content for social impact. I believe in the power of technology to change the world — that’s why I work in the startup sector with a mission-driven focus. I collaborate with creative engineers, computer scientists, product managers, researchers and entrepreneurs on internal communications.

By designing programs and processes, I strive to connect, inspire and inform team members so they can focus on what matters. I thrive when moving fast, developing ideas into action and partnering with leaders. Over the years, I’ve curated newsletters for executives, facilitated major online gatherings and launched an Intranet. Previously, I worked in philanthropy as a community manager, storyteller and fundraiser.

On my own time, I pursue creative community focused side projects to make a local and global impact, learn new skills and experiment with ideas that have ultimately shaped my professional path. In 2019, I shared my story of falling in love with side projects at TEDxEmory. A few of my past and present side projects are the following: The Switchboard, National Muffin Day, Peach and Prosperity and Tradition Kitchens.

I graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University where my senior honors thesis studied the role of NGOs in democracy promotion abroad. Since graduation, I have stayed active as an alumna volunteer. My career started as the first reporter for CNN Student Bureau. I enjoy connecting for conversations on community, cooking, podcasts and many other topics. Drop me a line or say hello on LinkedIn.
