I have developed strategies and raised funds from corporations, major donors and foundations while sharing philanthropic stories of impact. 

National Muffin Day

I created a philanthropic food holiday with my friend, Jacob—the Muffin Man. Along with more than 1,000 Muffinteers, we have baked and given out approximately 25,000 muffins to people experiencing homelessness in 40 cities and raised thousands of dollars for causes relating to homelessness over the past six years. I lead social media strategy, volunteer recruitment and corporate partnerships.

National Muffin Day has been featured in Forbes,CNN,Good Morning America,Inside Editionand Pickler and Ben. In June 2019, I was featured on Cherry Bombe Radio’s Food for Thought podcast tour in Savannah. 

New York Public Radio (WNYC)

I collaborated with senior leadership and Trustees on a $75M fundraising campaign. To work towards this goal, I implemented Asana, a project management system and partnered with foundations, major gifts fundraisers and business development teams to develop and track proposals. I also analyzed and presented progress with data and metrics.

UJA Federation of New York

I co-led fundraising strategy for a $9M annual campaign focused on young professionals in New York City. I created community by overseeing 150 events reaching over 10,000 members. I raised funds from a portfolio of 250 donors across professional fields, including finance, healthcare, tech and real estate.  

In addition, I coached, supervised and trained 15 professionals in partnership with Directors from other teams. As fundraising results were reported, I measured trends to analyze growth and progress. 

Cornell Hillel 

I raised major gifts and managed Trustee portfolios while collaborating with University Alumni Affairs and Development for approximately a $1 million annual campaign. I forecasted yearly and long-range goals for annual and endowment campaign planning.  

In addition, I developed digital, social media and print marketing strategies to share stories of student and alumni experiences. I implemented a new CRM, website, advisory councils and event series with Fortune 500 CEOs. During the Executive Director search, I managed daily operations and a team of 10 professionals.
