Community Building & Storytelling

I connect people, places and ideas to create meaningful experiences focused on storytelling.

The Switchboard

I publish The Switchboardto showcase Internal Communications leaders and the field’s best practices. I have interviewed 45 global leaders from diverse industries, published lessons learned from my work and sparked conversations on LinkedIn

ComNet Community Ambassadors

I developed an initiative to transform a conference into a gathering with approximately 75 volunteer leaders serving as ambassadors to welcome cohorts of approximately 40 attendees at The Communications Network annual conferences in 2018 and 2019.

This program sparked connections and facilitated conversations leading to career mentorships and friendships. I wrote about my lessons learned from organizing the experience on LinkedIn.

Philanthropic and Founder Fridays

I tapped into the power of Friday nights to curate themed dinner parties, bringing together strangers for content and conversation. In New York City, I hosted Philanthropic Fridays to discuss how people gave time, money and expertise. In Atlanta, I hosted Founder Fridays to interview local creators who are making a mark on the city and connect them with young professionals.

Creative Mornings Field Trips

I fostered connections for CreativeMornings Atlanta, a local chapter of the global CreativeMornings community with 200+ cities worldwide.

For three and a half years, I brought together more than 1,400 attendees to visit Atlanta businesses, institutions and landmarks with in-person and online workshops hosted by leading brands, including Savannah College of Art and Design, Gensler, the Alliance Theatre, Citizen Supply, Civic Dinners, Georgia Tech’s Professional and Continuing Education and more.

Tradition Kitchens

I transform kitchens into classrooms to connect cultures, generations and neighborhoods by empowering home cooks and prominent chefs to teach family recipes with history.

With a network of Kitchen Ambassadors, I host pop up cooking classes, previously in-person and currently online. With over 75 classes, we have reached 3,000 global attendees who tune in live to learn Indian, Filipino, Jewish, Latino, Russian and more diverse dishes. Our Cooking Library features the recordings and recipes. The Atlanta Journal Constitution wrote about our launch.
