Podcasting

I produced podcasts and facilitated conversations around audio storytelling.

Audio Squares

I partnered with a team of artists, brand advisors and producers to launch a global campaign for Pride and Progress. This audio social square storytelling initiative showcased the impact of the organization’s trailblazing grantees in the LGBQT community.

Peach and Prosperity Podcast

I produced a podcast in partnership with my Dad to share economic, cultural and historical stories around Georgia. We interviewed, edited and released this narrative storytelling podcast approximately once a month. Peach and Prosperity, Season 1 released 21 episodes, including the story behind Tiny Doors ATL, King of Pops, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and more. In the spring of 2020, we released an emergency Season 2 with eight episodes to support small businesses and restaurants impacted by the pandemic.

I also organized events to build community with listeners. To celebrate our launch, I hosted a podcast party and secured corporate and small business partners for the event at Colony Square’s WeWork. I also gathered young professionals quarterly for live podcast conversations over dinners.

Podcast Clubs

I hosted discussions of podcasts. For three years, I gathered 25 of my closest friends in different locations for video chat conversations.

Based on this experience, I developed a work version where I selected episodes, recruited colleagues to co-facilitate and developed questions to guide meaningful conversations. Our members ranged from new professionals to senior leadership. Here’s a guide to organizing your Office Podcast Club

Consulting

I freelanced to support podcast producers by providing live recording assistance as a tape sync. In 2019, I joined Wonder Media Network’s the Brown Girls Guide to Politics podcast for an interview with the Democratic Presidential candidate, Senator Elizabeth Warren.

I supported Cornell’s Student and Young Alumni Affairs team with the strategic planning for the launch of its podcast, “Fresh from the Hill.”
