Internal Communications Strategy and Implementation

I designed and implemented internal communications strategies at several organizations. I launched an Intranet, reimagined All Hands, developed employee newsletters, drafted executive talking points, built communities and created editorial calendars

Be(e) Orange at Spin

I created culture-building initiatives for Be(e) Orange, an organic movement at Spin with a focus on skill building, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Employee Resource Groups, mental health, holidays and values. I empowered employee ambassadors to organize 50+ events in 2020. I also partnered with Design to create the internal mascot and a suite of materials to accompany it, including conversation cards and a puzzle. 

My favorite programs included a “howl-i-day” pet show, a global artisanal honey tasting, a custom milestone puzzle and a Spin Can Cook series. I also ghostwrote a blog post in partnership with the Spin team to share the impact of these initiatives on the employee experience.  

Onboarding Systems

I facilitated cross-functional teams to develop welcome packets and onboarding processes. At Spin, I led the Welcome Week team to create a suite of materials for employees to receive each day and created an Intranet site for new employees and managers to access information.

Team Trainings and Templates

I developed organization-wide curriculums for learning opportunities, off-sites and gatherings. I created templates and processes to support project management and planning for Communications teams. I designed trainings and toolkits to make meetings matter and give better presentations.
